Choose a customer channel
You need a tested assistant before connecting a production channel. Choose the connection based on the phone infrastructure your organization already operates.
Website and browser
Use a browser call for internal testing. For visitors, configure the website widget with the allowed origins and the assistant's public embed settings. A browser channel does not need a telephone carrier.
Existing company phone system
For an existing SIP connection, review company SIP. For an Asterisk installation, use the PBX guide. Contact-center integrations such as VICIdial depend on the installation's feature settings and the external PBX setup.
Carrier account
The backend includes adapters for Cloudonix, Exotel, Plivo, Telnyx, Twilio, Vobiz and Vonage. The choices available to your organization depend on deployment settings and provisioning. An adapter's presence does not mean every transfer or routing feature is available on every carrier.
Create the connection in the application's telephony settings, save its credentials, then add the phone numbers. Assign a published assistant to each number that should receive calls. Select a default outbound connection if you plan to place calls.
Verify one inbound and one outbound path
Use the callback address supplied by the installation. For the managed gateway, the inbound address is https://app.intracord.hu/api/v1/telephony/inbound/run. A self-managed gateway uses its own hostname with the same path. Provider callback URLs remain v1 even when your reporting integration uses API v2.
Place a controlled test call and review the matching conversation record. Check inbound routing and outbound campaigns for the direction you need.
