Edit and publish a conversation

Open an assistant with permission to edit it. Decide which part of the service you want to change before adding more stages.

Change one stage

Select a stage on the canvas and edit its prompt. Use the opening for the greeting, service stages for the questions and actions, and a closing stage for the final message. Give the connections clear conditions. Each conversation needs a single starting point and a reachable way to finish.

Set the conversation behavior

Add Global Prompt includes the shared instructions in a stage. Allow Interruption controls whether the assistant can stop speaking when the caller interrupts. Test both on your chosen voice setup. Where variable extraction is enabled, describe the value and type you need; confirm the extracted result in a test record.

Save, test and publish

Save the draft and start a browser call. Inspect corrections and alternative paths as well as the successful path. Publishing validates the conversation; resolve the reported stages or connections before trying again. Published versions and drafts have different roles: changing a draft is not proof that inbound callers are using it.

Place result delivery in a webhook action after the call. Use a business API action when you need the result during the conversation.
